Tom Coll serves as President / CEO and General Manager for Cranadore Construction

Tom Coll grew up in Northwest Ireland in County Donegal. His father, Michael Coll, was a renown builder who was very influential in cultivating Tom’s keen interest in construction.

When Tom was not in school, he could be found working beside his father on a job site starting at seven years old. Initially, he was tasked with keeping the job sites clean and learning the various aspects of the building trade. Early on Tom loved to plaster and building traditional Irish stone walls and fences which he sometimes builds for clients even today (see photo below.)

The Irish have always been hardworking, Master Craftsmen and developed many design methods that are unique to Ireland. Their old stone wall fences can be seen still standing in perfect condition hundreds of years later due to the perfectionistic nature of Irish builders.

With over 25 years of local experience, Tom Coll’s building philosophy emphasizes a “concept to completion” model, focusing on project management and ensuring that the building process and final build aligns with the client’s specific vision.

Tom resides in Sonoma, California, with his wife, Karen Duffy.

Our Team / Professional Collaborations

Cranadore partners with general contractor, Richie Hart of Rohan Wallace & Aherne. Canadore handles the physical construction aspects of all building projects while partnering with specialized designers and architects like RDK Consulting, to facilitate the “concept” phase of a project.
